What to Expect
How the free consultation works
Pick a time
Grab any open slot on Megan's real calendar. You'll get an email confirmation with the call details.
Talk for 15 minutes
Share a little about what's going on. Megan will answer your questions and let you know if she thinks she's the right fit.
Decide from there
If it feels right, we'll schedule your first session. If not, no pressure. The call is yours either way.
Questions
Before you book
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The 15-minute phone or video consultation is free with no obligation. It's a chance for you and Megan to see if working together makes sense.
How soon can I be seen?
Most new clients can be scheduled within a week of their consultation. Same-week openings are held back specifically for new intakes.
What if I'm not sure whether therapy is right for me?
That's exactly what the consultation is for. Bring your questions, share a little about what's going on, and leave with a clearer picture of whether therapy makes sense for you right now.
Do you take insurance?
NorthStar is a private-pay practice. We don't bill insurance directly, which keeps rates lower. We accept HSA and FSA, and we provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement. See our fee structure for full details.
